One Week Gabriola Island Getaway
Gabriola Beaches, hiking, kayaking and art discoveries await you on Gabriola Island in British Columbia, Canada. It is the most northern island of the Southern Gulf Islands in the Strait of Georgia, west of Nanaimo and known as the "Isle of the Arts". Relax in a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house with all the amenities, accommodating 6-8 people. It is situated in a wooded lot, 3 blocks from Spring Beach, a 3/4 mile walk to the petroglyphs and an easy drive or bike ride to Silva Bay where you'll find various beaches and art studios.

Villa Manon in Provence, France
Villa Manon Nestled in the foothills of the Petit Luberon, this large and lush villa overlooks the vineyards, Mont Ventoux and the villages of Roussillon and Joucas. With its wide open spaces on the main floor, opening to several covered terraces and the heated horizon pool, the house is ideal for large groups. This exquisite home accommodates up to 12 people. The main house includes 3 large bedrooms and there are 2 smaller bedrooms in the second house. The kitchen, decorated in the Provencal fashion, is the heart of the house. Equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, a large pantry, and all necessary cookware, from family heirlooms to modern pots and pans, it is truly fit for the gourmet cook.

Our American guests will feel at ease thanks to the imported measurement tools, cookbooks, washer/ dryer and ice-water dispenser fridge. Other amenities include: hairdryers, high-speed internet access, Satellite TV with English-speaking channels, a BBQ, a heated pool suitable for laps, a game area, a private garden with panoramic views of the apt valley, and an English-speaking house-manager who can double as a concierge and help you organize your stay with advance bookings, gourmet tours and in-house catering!

You may decide to spend an active day, discovering one of the numerous hillside villages, visiting the splendid lavender fields, shopping at the local markets or at the nearby farm for the bountiful regional produce. Or you can fill your days taking advantage of the lavish house and surroundings, resting in the shade, listening to the humming "Cigales", cooling off in the pool or going for a walk in the adjacent forest.

Week Long Stay at San Juan Island Cabin
Cabo image Treat yourself to some peace and quiet with a week's stay at a 1600 square foot waterfront cabin in Decatur Island in the beautiful San Juans. Get back to nature with this cabin hidden away in the surrounding forest. Invite friends and family because this cabin can accommodate up to 9 people with full amenities! Excludes: July 31-Aug 7 and Aug 30-Sept 5. Decatur Island is not served by Washington State Ferries, but there are two private ferry companies that transport for approximately $50/person (no waiting in lines!!!)

Harstine Island Waterfront Cabin
harstine One week stay at a 1908 waterfront farmhouse on Harstine Island. No need for a ferry, this property is 1 and 3/4 hours from Seattle and has its own bridge! The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is cozy but can sleep 12 to 14 people. Two families fit easily, three if you don't mind a squeeze. We also have a huge tent for the summer months. The house features a wrap around deck and covered porch with a view of the Puget Sound. The property is on 4 acres and features a full sized basketball court, pickleball court, a hot tub, an outdoor shower, a fire pit for sing-alongs, a horseshoe pit, a croquet set, a meadow we use for wiffle ball and kickball, and a ping pong table. Be aware! We have no phone, no computer access, and no television. Board games and puzzles abound, and long naps are not required but certainly encouraged.

Two Nights at a Leavenworth Cabin
Leavenworth image Enjoy a two night stay in a cabin in the woods. This recently built, two bedroom, two bath cabin comfortably sleeps eight. Located on Highway 97, and close to Leavenworth, the cabin offers plenty of outdoor opportunities such as hiking, rafting, mountain biking and snow shoeing.

Accommodations and meals in Antigua include staying six days in the home of one Global Visionaries' favorite families and one romantic night at Hotel La Sinventura, one block off the Central Park. Attend Spanish language school for one week and receive one-on-one lessons at Centro Linguistico La Union while you sightsee, relax, and/or volunteer at one of Global Visionaries' ongoing school construction or reforestation projects or in the hospital.
