Adult Trip Coordinator 2011

Collaborate with Development Manager, Executive Director, and Board Chair to coordinate our trips for adults to Guatemala. Rick Steves Europe Through the Back Door has been supportive in the design and promotion of this program. This Adult Trip Coordinator is responsible for public relations and communications, advertising and promotion, participant preparation and administrative logistics.
This position requires a commitment of 8-15 hours a week for a minimum of 6 months. The schedule is flexible. This is an unpaid internship. However, interns who can dedicate 15hrs/week can apply for a subsidized spot on one of the trips to Guatemala.
Desired Qualifications
- Good with people; patient and excellent customer service skills
- Excellent organizational, writing and communication skills
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Some prior fundraising experience desired but not required
